When and Where Can I See the Roadshows?
The Drug
Sense/The Wright Stuff roadshow is touring schools up to
the end of February, 2006.
All 25 high schools and
other educational establishments in Kirklees will be
included in the roadshow, so all Year 10 pupils across
the Local Education Authority will be taking part.
The roadshow and teaching
pack aim to:
• raise awareness of, and reduce drug related harm on,
the individual, the family and the local community
• raise awareness of, and confidence in using, local
information and intervention services (agencies that
help people with problems with drugs)
• enable students to reflect on their attitudes towards
drugs and drug users
• develop appropriate skills for dealing with drug
related situations.
