Has The Wright Stuff toured schools before?

The Wright Stuff’s previous production to be seen in schools across Kirklees proved to be a massive hit among both pupils and teachers.

Shot in the Dark is a filmed puppet show which features real life characters to promote accurate messages about drugs, alcohol and tobacco.

It centres on a young man called Joe who takes part in a game show and wins a prize to go to a nightclub, where he tries drugs.

Shot in the Dark examines the power relationships between adults and young people and peer pressure in relation to a range of complementary issues.

Val Flintoff, Kirklees’ Drugs Education Advisor, said: “The young people related to it very well. In my own school, I had pupils sneaking in trying to see the show again.”
