A.C.T.T. (Adult Community Treatment Team)

ACTT provides a range of prescribing and counselling services for people experiencing problems with substance use, be that alcohol or drugs. We have a service in Huddersfield and Dewsbury, and we also work across Kirklees in G.P. surgeries so that people can attend clinics in their local area. We provide substitute prescribing, detoxification, relapse prevention, structured counselling, brief interventions and group-work.

A.C.T.T aims to reduce the harm substance use might do to the individual and their families and carers, we want to work with people to help them meet their goals and aims, be that small or big steps. The aims of treatment are to improve physical and mental health, and to support people to make changes they want to make. Service users set their own goals, and the service is committed to working in partnership with service users, their families and carers and the wider community.
